How to copy a public Telegram post link
Open Telegram on your phone or desktop. Navigate to the public channel and find the post with the media you want to save. Tap or click the post, then use the Share or Copy Link option. The link will look like https://t.me/channelname/123 — make sure you copy the complete URL including the message ID number at the end. If you only have the channel link without a message ID, the downloader will not be able to find a specific post.
Supported t.me link formats
The downloader accepts links from t.me, www.t.me, telegram.me, and www.telegram.me. Links must point to a public post with a numeric message ID. Examples of supported links include https://t.me/durov/123 and https://telegram.me/channelname/456. Links that require accepting an invite, joining a group, or signing in are not supported. Direct t.me links to channels without a specific post ID cannot be processed — you need the full post link.
Public posts, channels, and groups
Only public Telegram content is supported. A public channel is one that anyone can view without an invite link. Public group posts may also work if the group is set to public visibility and the post link is accessible without joining. Private channels, private groups, invite-only content, and direct messages are not supported. If you can view the post in a browser without logging into Telegram, there is a good chance the link will work.
Video and image output
When a public post contains a video, the downloader typically provides an MP4 file. When a post contains an image, you will receive the image in its available format — usually JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF. The downloader shows the detected media type and file size before you download, so you know what to expect. The download link is temporary and will expire — save the file to your device promptly.

Invite links (t.me/+ links or t.me/joinchat links) are not supported because they require accepting an invitation. Links that redirect to a login page will also fail because the tool cannot sign in to Telegram.
