Use NewTools to pixelate an image directly in your browser. Uses adjustable block size for privacy masking or pixel-art style.
Secure Image Pixelation Tool. Easily censor sensitive areas of your photos or create retro pixel art. Because processing happens in your browser, your unedited images are never exposed to external servers.
Upload an image file from your device.
Enter a pixel block size between 4 and 80 (default is 12).
Wait for the browser to render the blocks, then download the result.
Quickly obscure faces, license plates, or private documents before sharing photos online.
Transform modern high-resolution photographs into stylish, blocky 8-bit style artwork.
Larger block sizes (50-80) are better for completely hiding identities.
Smaller block sizes (4-12) create a subtle mosaic effect.
The tool divides your image into a grid based on the size you specify. It samples the color of the top-left pixel in each grid square, and then fills the entire block with that solid color, reducing the overall visual detail.
When dealing with sensitive information like faces or ID documents, uploading to a third-party server is risky. Our tool leverages client-side processing to ensure your private data never leaves your computer.
